Welcome to the Chinese Chess - Xiangqi app (the “App”).
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and shares information, and the choices available to you. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.
The App is primarily designed to run offline/locally. The following information is typically stored only on your device and is not uploaded by us to our own servers:
l Game settings (such as sound, vibration, board theme, piece font, language)
l Unfinished and historical game records
l Endgame progress and unlock status
l Ad-related unlock status (such as themes, fonts, endgame levels, undo/hint credits)
The App integrates Google AdMob and may also show ads through mediation networks such as Unity Ads. To deliver and measure ads, third parties may collect or process information such as:
l Device identifiers (for example, IDFA if you grant tracking permission, and other advertising-related device data)
l IP address and approximate location (typically inferred from IP)
l Device model, operating system version, and app version
l Ad impressions, clicks, and related interaction data
l Technical/diagnostic information where supported by the service providers
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, phone number, contacts, or precise GPS location.
On iOS, we may request permission to track across apps and websites owned by other companies so that we can show more relevant personalized ads. You can change this at any time in:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you deny tracking, you may still see ads, which are typically limited-ad-tracking or non-personalized ads.
We use information to:
l Provide Xiangqi gameplay, endgames, replay, and settings
l Save progress and preferences locally on your device
l Show advertisements that support free use of the App
l Comply with applicable laws and platform policies
l Improve stability and user experience within the capabilities of our service providers
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with or processed by third parties in these cases:
l Advertising partners, such as Google (AdMob), Unity Ads, and related mediation partners, under their own privacy policies
l Legal requirements, when required by law, regulation, or legal process
l Protection of rights, when necessary to protect users, the public, or our legitimate interests
Google’s privacy and advertising information is available at:

l Game progress and settings are stored primarily on your device.
l Advertising-related data is stored and processed by third parties on their infrastructure.
l We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
l Local data is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear App data; you may also delete certain history records inside the App.
l Third-party advertising data is retained according to each provider’s policy. We cannot fully control third-party retention periods.
The App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we or our partners have collected a child’s information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We apply applicable ad content and AdMob configuration restrictions where appropriate. This does not guarantee that the App is suitable for unsupervised use by children; parents or guardians should supervise minors.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may:
l Manage tracking and ad personalization in system settings
l Use in-app privacy options (when available under consent frameworks) to manage personalized advertising preferences
l Uninstall the App to stop further local data from being created
l Contact us using the email listed above to submit a request
Users in the EEA/UK may also rely on Google’s EU user consent mechanisms and related choices. Users in California and certain other regions may have additional rights under local law.
Advertising partners may process data outside your country or region. By using the App, you understand that such cross-border processing may occur and is governed by the relevant partners’ policies.
Ads may open third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their policies separately.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where reasonably practicable, by notice in the App or another appropriate method. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
